Term Plan

Deep Thought and Leadership Course 

Deep Thought is the Course run over the weekend of the 15th, 16th and 17th of July.  It will leed to a deeper understanding of life the universe and everything.  An no the answer is not 42.  Well; not always.  Deep though will give you your Ideals Badge too.  You must bring along your completed application and payment Thursday night.

Leadership course.

We have not spoken about it but we’ll discuss it Thursday night.

STOP THE PRESS.

We have just been given our first 2000 flyers to hand out this weekend.2425/26 on June.  We are getting paid to hand these out and the money can go to WILD DAYZ.  I will have further news soon.

Venturer Cooking / Outdoor camp.  August 5,6,7.

There will be an outdoor cooking EXTRAVIGANZA.  Aug 5,6,7.  Location will be the Scout Camp at Wonga Park.  More detail to come.  It’ll be special.

Cuboree

Cuboree is a HUGH camp for Cub Scouts.  Without Leader and especially Venturer support, it can not go ahead.  Remember when you may have gone on a CUBOREE, the Venturers who gave up their time and effort for you?  Yes there were.  Throughout Scouting, don’t forget it is about helping those who are at a level below you.  Below is the link to Cuboree for your Registration, info etc.  If your not looking to go to have fun; if you not looking to go because you get to enjoy thousand of screaming kids; if your not going to go to get your “SERVICE BADGE” signed off, then go to you can precariously dangly Reece from the abseil tower.

Wild Dayz.

Hikes.

Congratulations to Nathan ( the King of Scroggin ), Patreace ( get the spelling of my name wrong and I will kill you ) and Beccy ( what were those boots? ); who all completed their Burgundy Hike on the weekend of the 1-3 of April in the Whroo State forest.  Hike Report attached. More HIKING!! Congratulations to James and Harlee on their Burgundy Hike into the wild country of Rushworth.  Again, we had Venturer return with NO GOLD!!  Well, that means more Bunning BBQ’s for you.  Special thanks to Jessi and Luke, more experienced than the Layland Brothers in assisting our intrepid trackers.
